Registrar
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Kebbi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Jega. The College Registry is new to the college itself which was upgraded from School to College in 2020, but we are doing our best to put the unit in order.
The Registry, in line with its universal mandate as the custodian of rules and regulations is a major player in the efforts to actualizing the vision of the College “to be a Health training institution with the capacity to produce qualified middle cadre man power needs of the Health care delivery system for the local, State and the Country at large through quality training, retraining, research and human development”.
The unit advises the Provost on the day-to-day administration of the affairs of the College, other than financial matters as stipulated in the College Edict of 2020.
The Registry of the College is made up of Divisions charged with providing excellent service towards the day-to-day effective administration of the institution. This comprises the Administration, Academic, Council affairs, Establishments, and Student Affairs Divisions. These structures deal with emerging complexities in governance, especially with the continuous expansion of the College. There is a Deputy Registrar who oversees the various units that make up the Division and is responsible to the Registrar.
In terms of ensuring quality assurance, the College Registry has distinguished itself as the sole keeper of the College’s values and traditions and enforcer of rules and regulations. As an integral part of the College, it is committed to making the College of Health Sciences and Technology Jega as befitting institution and has indeed worked assiduously to uphold its Vision and Mission as conceived by the founding fathers. It has performed creditably well against all odds, especially in this era of globalization.
